Custom Sports Club, Booking & Academy Software — Built for Your Sport

Kodlify is a software studio that designs and builds booking systems, club and academy management software, websites and mobile apps for sports businesses. We are a development studio, not a SaaS product: we build sports club software and custom sports booking systems for club owners, facility operators, academy directors and sports-tech founders, and the software, code and data are yours.

Work with us on a fixed-price project or on a monthly plan where we build, host and support the software as you grow. Either way, there is no commission on your bookings, and the software is designed around your sport and the way your venue actually runs.

Multi-sport complexes on one system

Many venues run more than one sport under one roof. We build sports facility management software for multi-sport complexes that handles padel and tennis courts, pickleball sessions, football pitches and gym space in one place, so members have one account and one app and your team has one calendar.
  • One member account across every sport
  • Shared calendar with sport-specific booking rules
  • One payment set-up, memberships that span sports
  • Reports per sport and for the whole venue

One partner across sports

Under the hood, most sports software shares the same core: bookings, memberships, payments, notifications and reporting. We build that core once, properly, and add the rules that make each sport different on top, such as Americano rotations for padel, tee intervals for golf or age groups for a football academy. You get a custom sports booking system that fits your sport today and can take on another one tomorrow.

What we build

From a single booking system to sports academy management software, sports club app development and complete platforms for multi-site operators.
  • Court and pitch booking systems

Online reservations for courts, pitches and lanes with real-time availability, pricing rules, payments and automatic reminders.

  • Club and facility management

Memberships, staff schedules, invoicing and reports in one place, so your front desk spends less time on spreadsheets.

  • Academy and coach management

A sports academy app for enrolments, class levels, coach timetables, attendance and parent communication.

  • Websites

Fast, mobile-friendly websites that explain what you offer and turn visitors into bookings and members.

  • Mobile apps

iOS and Android apps with your branding for booking, memberships, match results and push notifications.

  • Custom platforms and SaaS

League platforms, tournament tools and multi-venue SaaS products for operators and sports-tech founders.

Questions about sports software

How much does a custom sports booking system cost?

It depends on the sport, the number of courts, pitches or bays, whether you need an app and which integrations you want. Price and timing depend on project size, and every project gets a fixed quote after a short scoping call. For context, published 2026 guides put a sports venue booking app at roughly $18,000–150,000 or more; these are market figures, not Kodlify prices.

Should we build our own system or buy a SaaS product?

Buy when a subscription covers your rules and the fees stay small. Build when booking commission, per-court or per-registration fees keep growing, when your rules don't fit a package, or when you want your own app and data. Published build-vs-buy guides suggest comparing five years of subscription and fees with the cost of a build.

What is the best software for managing sports clubs?

There is no single best product. Playtomic and MATCHi suit padel and tennis clubs that want marketplace discovery, CourtReserve and Playbypoint suit racquet facilities, and Pitchero and Spond suit grassroots football. We don't sell a product, so we have none to push; a custom build makes sense when those tools stop fitting how your club runs.

Can we keep Playtomic or MATCHi for discovery and still have our own app?

Yes. Many clubs keep a marketplace listing so new players can find them, and run memberships, regular bookings and their own app on a system they own. We connect the two where the marketplace allows it.

Do you charge commission or per-booking fees?

No. We charge for building the software, as a fixed-price project or a monthly plan. Bookings and payments go through your own payment provider, so the only transaction fees are theirs.

Which payment methods can players use?

Stripe in most markets, plus local methods: Direct Debit through GoCardless in the UK, SEPA direct debit in Europe, Bizum in Spain, iDEAL in the Netherlands, and regional gateways such as Network International and Tabby in the UAE. Cash and desk payments can be recorded in the same system.

Can one system run several sports?

Yes. A shared core handles accounts, bookings, memberships and payments, and each sport gets its own resources and rules. Members see one app; your staff see one calendar and one set of reports.

Can it send WhatsApp or SMS confirmations?

Yes. Booking confirmations, reminders, waitlist offers and payment notices can go out through the WhatsApp Business API or by SMS, alongside email and push notifications in your app.

Do you integrate with federation and rating systems?

Where they provide access, yes: for example DUPR for pickleball, WHS or GHIN for golf handicaps, FA Full-Time or DFBnet for football fixtures and AAU checks for basketball. Access rules differ, so we confirm the route for your federation during scoping.

Do we own the code?

On project-based work, ownership of the custom software passes to you once it is paid in full, and your member and booking data is always yours. Our terms explain the details.

How long does a booking system take to build?

It depends on scope: a booking website is quicker than a booking platform with a mobile app and integrations. After a short scoping call we give you a timeline broken into milestones, together with the price.

Do you build for sports that aren't listed here?

Yes. The six sports above are where most of our work is, but any court, pitch, lane or class-based sport follows similar patterns. Tell us how your sessions, memberships and payments work and we will tell you honestly whether we are a good fit.
